“The curriculum was well-organized with book learning and explanations to start off, followed by hands-on practice. The training is superb as it caters to all levels – right from the beginner to an advanced stylist needing a refresher.”

Dog Grooming Certification
In Australia to date, there are no legal certification requirements necessary in relation to working in the industry as a dog groomer
The personal skills that you obtain are your success and future to your career
The Grooming School has a 100 % work placement record for our students since 2004 in the dog grooming industry and with the demand for our students increasing we dont see this changing in the near future
Though certification is not necessary it is however important to your ongoing education to keep learning as much as you can to increase you knowledge and broaden your range of skills
If it is your personal choice to obtain any of the many certifications available we can certainly organize for you to partake in these either prior, during or after your training
Before starting any Certification it is very important to you that you research thoroughly any claims made on behalf of the certification to assure you are undertaking a legitimate and industry recognized training / certification.
At the successful completion of your course with us, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from The Grooming School and also a Certificate from AIPG ( Australian Institute of Pet Grooming )
If you are confused or unsure about certification please contact us and we will be happy to explain the process to you.
